Cindy Taylor, CPO

 

Ms. Taylor is a global technology executive experienced in leading digital transformation and risk management across business and IT. She has developed IT strategies, created delivery organizations, led numerous global teams, managed significant ERP turnaround initiatives, implemented continual improvement programs, and deployed IT support services to maintain and sustain key business operations. Her strength is bringing order to disrupted environments, instilling confidence in the journey, and building Business/IT alignment and transparency.

Cindy has taken her career experiences and expertise and serves as partner / advisor to several start-up firms.  Currently, she is Chief Operating Officer for EnSignis, a digital transformation company, responsible for  establishing advisory services, building strategic vendor partnerships and joint go-to-market strategies,  and evolving digital transformation solutions and services. She serves as CIO advisor and Board member for ReCharge Wellness, an emerging firm focused on employee well-being solutions. Additionally, as a Partner for CyberRisk Solutions, Cindy provides CIO advisory services working with customers to formulate enterprise risk management strategies focused on cyber threats.

Prior to moving into the entrepreneur world, Cindy managed corporate-wide applications, infrastructure, and data center operations as corporate VP of Information Systems at Oxford Industries. In that role, she designed and implemented IT / Business Alignment strategies, IT Governance, IT Portfolio Management, SAP Center of Excellence, IT Risk Assessment, strategic cyber roadmap planning, IT Roadmap planning, cloud strategy alignment, project management methods, quality management improvements, vendor risk management operations, enhanced resourcing strategies, and stabilized IT operations and service delivery. This significantly enhanced customer satisfaction, collaboration, reduced risk and contributed to achievement of business results.

Prior to joining Oxford Industries, Ms. Taylor spent nearly 20 years in management consulting as a Partner with Computer Sciences Corporation, North America Global Program Management Practice Head at Tata Consultancy Services, and Director of Transition and Program Management for Savvis (now CenturyLink).  She has led large global cross-functional delivery teams, transitioned and integrated Fortune 1000 customers impacted by mergers, acquisitions, IT outsourcing, and similar business disruptions.  Ms. Taylor has also built two Program Management / PMO professional services practices to deliver global transformation solutions, IT Outsourcing transition leadership, and has been chosen by a number of clients to restore troubled initiatives and provide strategic consulting.

Prior to consulting, Ms. Taylor started her career at General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) as a business systems software developer for the F-16 program and later worked with the US Air Force and General Dynamics / Lockheed / Boeing team on the F-22 integrated weapons systems data strategy and implementation roadmap. She is a graduate of Auburn University, serves as an active Harbert College of Business Advisory Council Member, is a charter member of HCOB’s Mentor Program, and is heavily involved in HCOB’s Women in Business Program. Also, Ms. Taylor currently serves as Board Member and Past President of Atlanta-based Kettering Executive Network.  She and her husband reside in Marietta, Georgia.
